Just Who Are You Guys?

CarBuyingInfo.org is a site dedicated to you, the consumer, plain and simple. It actually started as a college project. A group of us got together to research how a college student can best buy a car. Now here we are about a few years later, and we have made this into something more. We spent a ton of time online searching every resource you can imagine. From Edmunds.com to KBB.com, from Autotrader.com, to Cars.com. From the biggest sites, to the smallest, you name it we spent hours examining the sites. How do you best buy a car? What an enigma that question is! We even found some cool sites like CarBuyingTips.com. We learned a ton on that site, but it didn’t really seem like the site was for us, it felt like it was talking to our parents. JDPower.com has great consumer information, but we are not research experts so it felt a little plastic. Actually, one of the coolest sites we found was when we went looking for some young car sales people. We found a bunch and while interviewing them came across a blog called Dealerrefresh.com. The site is really cool, it gives an inside view from “Internet Sales Managers” at car dealerships. (Those are the people that handle all the internet requests for information). Really fascinating info if you want to get crazy and “know everything” about buying a car. Geez, just type “How to buy a car” into Google and you will see a million sites that offer you that “inside secret.”

So why us? Why not! With all the time we put in we feel like we can bring a new perspective on this process and maybe save you a ton of money, and who doesn’t want to save money? On this site you will find a compilation of articles our team has written. We scoured the internet for all of the best tips, wrote them down and have posted them on this little network of sites. We have four right now. The first one is CarBuyingInfo.org, which is a general site about the car buying process. The next two are made for specific car buying demographics, College Students, (where this project started) and Moms (a group that also seems to lack a lot of key information online). Finally, one of the guys in our group speaks Spanish, and he couldn’t find jack online for the Spanish user, so we have taken all our content, translated it, and then have a bunch more articles that have been created by a few young Hispanic writers we asked to do some research and find out more about buying a car if you don’t speak much English. (It’s amazing how little help there is with a population so large!)

The bottom line is... we hope we can provide you a great resource to take the fear out of the car buying process. We make one simple promise, we may not have the years and years of experience, but we have a lot of bright young minds here dedicated to learning and helping you to get the “best deal” possible on your next car!
